The journalistic / documentary reading-comprehension task (Section I, Comprehension 1): a French prose text (article, interview, report) followed by questions answered in French, with a final question in English, plus embedded vocabulary and short language sub-tasks. This is the flagship reading skill and the highest-coverage reading strand.
